Words and Signs

AJ has had a minor explosion of words and signs. She's so quick to pick up new signs now, and she's started using a few spoken words! Her spoken words include "mama," "dada," "no," "key," "cheese," "pasta" (said "pa"), "up," "down," and "amen." ("Book" has gone away -- so sad!) She also does animal sounds for cat, dog, monkey, and bird, along with a generic roar that's good for lions or bears.

She's got tons of signs: "eat," "water," "more," "milk," "apple," "blueberry," "banana," "book," "ball," "baby," "hurts," "hot," "bird," "frog," "flower," "hat," "all done," "music," "phone," "help," "bath," "diaper," "potty," "sleep" -- and the latest one she made up for herself: "video." This is because she loves watching videos of herself and Eva on their respective blogs. This week she said her first three-word sign sentence -- video baby phone -- which meant that she wanted to watch the video of Eva talking on the phone. Crazy!

Here she is for your enjoyment:
